Helpful Tips for Attending TRF

Pretty much what I figured.  So Merlin should be able to rest easy as long as he hangs out with us, then! 



And last I heard, seduction between adults wasn't an actual crime...

Yeah, but when was the last time you heard of a 1000+ year-old wizard seducing anything? Even the sheep are safe (I do have a wee bit of Scot in meh).

Ummm... I'm thinking your lady-wife might have something to say about that!  I mean, wasn't there some claim about solar panels and sex machines made not too long ago?  And if you're not busy seducing your own wife at every opportunity, then I'd say you're definitely fallin' down on the job!!!

I saw a guy get arrested around the fire cesspool last year, but I'm sure that is not uncommon. It's the first time I had bothered to walk over there in the 4 years I've been camping.

I haven't been over there yet, either... but so far I haven't really had time to head over there, since just about every minute is taken up with people I actually enjoy hanging out with!  Why go where the idiots are when all the awesome people are in various camps?    heheh

Yeah about the only time we go to that area is to get a laugh or two at the 'not the sharpest knives in the drawer' lol.

It's a shame there isn't a drum circle with drummers who are not also intent on poisoning themselves with alcohol.  I don't like that kind of energy in my rhythms, so I just avoid it...

It was just myself and another camp mate, the other guys had already went to bed. We stopped by some large group that had nice campers, a light show, and what looked like a disco ball. Like maybe 50 yards back from the main fire circle. They had dancers and drummers going, but as it tapered off we walked over to the big one. Just ended up chatting with a police officer for a bit and leaving. To much tension up there, like folks looking for trouble.

That's generally what I hear about the main circle, so I avoid it.  Don't really want to carry my drum all over the campgrounds looking for people to play with, though... and to be honest, I never really seem to have the time to play, anyway.  Way too many people there who I only get to see for one weekend a year, and we have a drum circle here every weekend, so mostly I roam around collecting hugs... and Loki samples!    heheh

So, in summation- hydrate, eat lots of good foods, avoid the main bonfire, find RFers and hang with them. Oh, and never, ever, EVER enter a port-a-potty while Fraser and Nasty are hanging around, trying (badly) to look innocent
