Oh, awesomeness!!!  Pretty reasonable price, also!  Could use some steamy paint, and maybe a cool accessory or two, but really fun!!!

Paint some flames on it...put some playing cards in the spokes....streamers on the handlebar grips....just like old times!

Well, I was thinking more along the lines of antique copper paint, brass horn, maybe some cool brass handles for the brakes... that sort of thing.  Oh, and some sort of steamed up suspended lock-box for under the seat and along the back of the frame!

yeah, but banana seats came a bit later... I never had one of those on my bike.

While I love trulyvictorian for their very well made patterns, sizing, and HA, I have been wishing for some more fantastical SP patterns.  I detest the ren sleeve wings & neck trim on the Simplicity pattern, but I'm thinking that by changing the sleeves for more floofy Vic sleeves, you could have a heck of a fine SP jacket right there.

It looks like the back of that jacket could be draped into a very pretty bustle with just a little imagination, also...  That's part of what I love about SP... anything is possible with just a little imagination!!!

This coat, worn with gathered pants, would make a cute steamy Turkish/belly dancer costume, too.

Particularly if you left off the sleeve and the neck ruffle and just kept the little cap..

If only I had an excuse...  I really like that pattern!  My airship pirate might need a new coat.

If I had any idea what size I would be the next time I have an excuse to dress up (Halloween?), I might start working on something.
