Lady Kathleen of Olmsted

The Pirate wedding garb is finished and was just picked up. The corset fit the Bride Perfectly. For being a Plus sized woman, she looked lovely in it.

The fabic did not photograph so well, but it looked sharp none the less in the light.

The White Chemise.

I nwill get more photos at the wedding and reception of the Bride and Groom.

Thank you for the kind words, everyone.  We had a blast making the kit.   ;D

Cilean, I have no idea if the fabric comes in other colours.  I bought it a handful of years ago, and it has sat in my stash maturing...    And yes, there is boas in them thar loops!  And also finishing the inside of the neckline.

Lady K, that bride is going to look stunning.

Spme photos from the Pirate Wedding yesterday afternoon. The setting was beautiful. The background music was from the PoTC films, even the Drawing of Swords for the Couple. They looked so wonderful. Everythig fit as it was supposed to.

The Groom before the wedding.

They look *great* Lady Kathleen! I especially love the addition of the monkey to Captain  Barbossa's shoulder lol! Once again, great work! But we expect no less from you ;)

My first completed project, doublet and paned slops - it made it's debut today at MI Ren Fest.  I didn't have a hat that went with the outfit, but I ended up finding one later on in the day.  It was great upgrading from peasant garb finally!

If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world.

Excellent job!!  I was out there today too and I am sorry I missed you.

Marietta Graziella

Here is my new noble-ish gown. The hoop is sitting oddly forward in this picture and I need to make a couple of adjustments but otherwise I love it. I will post a close up of the sleeve in the "sleeve eye candy" thread.  :)
Nothing clever to say here.  Not enough caffine yet.

*SQUEEEEEE!* SER NIALL YOU LOOK FABULOUS!!! *stomps foot* I wish I had been there to run up to you all squeee-ing and faint-y and make people think you were some kind of celebrity lol! I'm so happ-happ-happy for you! Doesn't it feel *great?!* You look like the cat who ate the canary--well done ser, well done! Will you be going again?

Thanks for the compliments!  It was definitely a lot of fun dressing up to the nines for festival.  We hope to go again the last weekend for sweet endings, my lady has a fondness for chocolate and all things baked  :D

Lady Kathleen, awesome pirate costumes, love it.

Marietta, the colors on your gown are awesome, they work very well together.  I'll have to check out the sleeves in the other thread.

You look great!  You look SO good I'm not surprised to see Mary Jane just behind you, taking in the view. I'm sure she's just checking the fit and details of your slops. Professional interest, you understand.  ;)

(and if you know Mary Jane, you know how she likes well fitted slops. and tights... and pantelone...)

I'm sorry I missed you to, but alas! - I was... in Church, all day.....confessing all the sins I committed on Saturday.  ;D  (yes, there were THAT MANY).

Wickedvox

I noticed that too Calliope! And Lillith, her assistant, is right behind him! Well, you should definitely cater to your lady's needs *at all times!* I'm torn between the sewing expo and closing weekend  :-\

You know you want to go to closing weekend  ;D  If I feel ambitious I might sew up the sleeves.  The material is just sitting there, staring at me...

The festival is at the point where I can't soak it all in over just a couple of days (crowds seem larger than ever and it's hard to get around sometimes).  We're probably going to get season passes next year.

Are Mary Jane and Lilith members of the forum here?  Kind of funny if that's the case, being in the background of the picture and all.
