Before Wrights stopped making this product, I would buy packages of 1/4" wide Middy Braid to use as loops for Doublet and Bodice Sleeves, as well as for neck and wrist bands on Shirts.

I  have now used narrow Cording in the colors of what I make Doublets and Bodice sleeves if there are openings. Use whatever works.

Again, well done, Rowan.

Here is the mint and Pink garb I finsihed a few weeks ago. I hate the view, and the shadows, she was sitting when she took it. But, it's the best I can do for now. :)

His outfit is so much better in person.  you cant really see the pink tone to the under cloth in his pants.  Oswyn is so talented.  :P

Absolutely stunning work through the last few pages.  I'm so impressed with the talent here.

I'm happy with the progress of my doublets.  This is my latest and I think the best one yet.  I'm not sure that I love my sleeve pattern though.  Can anyone recommend one?  I think mine is too curved at the elbow.  I've already altered it a bit but maybe I should just try a different one.

Wee Wench, that doublet is stunning!

I think you will find the curve more comfortable in the wearing. The pattern from Juan de Alcega's book is very curved.
It looks marvelous.
