Since we have a few non-faire photo's in this thread, here's one from this afternoon. Our German Shepherd, Kommandant Zeus needed a full time playmate. So this last week he was introduced to our newest German Shepherd, Fraulein Isis...

He was showing her how to sit proud and pretty in the backyard while chewing on sticks.

You have beautiful animals. Love the names!!! Zeus and Isis...two VERY powerful deities...though different pantheons.

Thanks!

Ya, I know, Zeus to Isis, Greek to Egyptian. But I didn't realize until after the fact that Isis was actually accepted into Greek mythology as a goddess as well. Or at least that's what I read online the other night. I'm thinking a good enough connection for me!  ;)

Jon.

Tammy

Well, even if there is no connection...two beautiful powerful names for two beautiful powerful animals. You couldn't have picked better, imho.

Ok...back to pictures...I took this one in my yard TODAY, with my cellphone camera...

I was just happy to see a spring flower!!

Wow, a flower! It's amazing at how nice a flower can look after a few months of frigid cold and ice. And it'll be many more months before we see them around here.

Jon.

Tammy

yeah...and a day later it snows...poor flower...
