You haven't had enough coffee unless you can thread a sewing machine while it's running.

Well done, Artemisia!!!!

When I worked at the Costume Shop, I did and original Willie Wonks ensemble that still rents well. The Frock coat wasa  purple Wool Crepe, lined in a Purple satin. I hand made the Bell Topper ina  Maroon Velveteen.

Classic and current films are always an inspiration to do costuming.

That's such a great impression Willemina Wonka!!  It would be fun to see the rest of the costumes in person.

Yeah only two people. Weird because the theme was the Wicked Chocolate Factory. Actually one guy yelled out as I passed by, "No - THAT'S Willy Wonka!"

OMG, there was so much steampunk there. All beautiful. Here's a link to some:

Thanks for sharing that link. As a lover of Gothic, Victorian and Steampunk fashion it was fun to look at.

I think the only people who may have realized were born before 1980. :)

That is seriously swish, that is!  Nice.  Love the buttons and the colour.  Great to get away from black, or a Jonny Depp/Jack Sparrow clone!
