Leach Park, along the Mississippi Riverway Trail in Bettendorf, Iowa. The tree is growing on the top of Bettendorf's earth flood wall. It was between 4:30 and 5:00 yesterday, and I was looking west towards Davenport, Iowa. This one was taken in about the same place, just down at the bottom of the flood wall on a fishing platform:

That's the Raven very entertaining. His other persona is a storyteller. We saw him at world of World faeries in Chicago.

Aye, I believe he appears at CRF in both guises; I haven't seen much of his storyteller persona but the Raven is quite fun to watch.  I don't know much about him though, as his website (Ravenstory.com) appears to be mostly nonfunctional

Sir Wiliam those are some fine shots of them aircraft. You must use some big lens to get those zoomed in shots. This August Selfridge here in Michigan will be running their show, and  it's a good things I came back to check on this thread or I would've forgot. You can't beat a free air show especially when they're going to have the air acrobatics group The Thunderbirds there whom put on just as good a show if not better than the Blue Angels. I've seen both and in my opinion they're both awesome. The sound and just the amazing feat of mankind being able to fly and at great speed. Amazing.
