...you move into a new place and immediately start referring to your walk-in "closet" as "The Garb Room," despite the fact that it also houses regular clothes, a vanity area, and other bits and baubles needed for getting dressed.

You just bought a 60x140 100% linen tablecloth from Sears on clearance (75% off!) because it will convert nicely to new smocks/chemises. Oh, and you grabbed two napkins also to make new coifs/cauls!

Whilst folding a red tablecloth, I noted it was the perfect size for a Court robe for the Re-coronation.
My wife refused to let me use it for said purpose, as it is needed as a tablecloth ::)

You know you're a true rennie if...

You buy a new pair of boots for the purpose of Ren Fest, and, whilst it being off season for your region, when they arrive, you decide you must go to the corner store and buy new razors...and break in your boots...in garb...

And then the next day, you decide that 'tis about time you made a payment at the bank (that you work at none the less) also garbed, to continue braking in said new boots.

No joke. My boyfriend, Davens, did this...His mom was thrilled to wake up and find him walking around in garb...

Don't know if this one has been posted but here goes:

You never had any interest in sewing or crafting before, but now all you can think about is the garb pieces you want to make.
