Alisoun!!  Lovely gown indeed. The colors you chose work very well together. HUZZAH!!!

The Victorian Bell Topper I made for Bob to wear with his Vampire Costume at CONVergence 2009. But it ended up being too tall and not enough Brim for him. So I will be keeping it for myself and building a Steampunk wardrobe around it. Must find a nice pair of Brass Goggles for a reasonable cost.

I love it! Ya know what they say - 'go big or go home!'

Yes, goggles would go beautifully on that hat.  ;D

Gown finally complete!  I started in March, and took a month long break for my wedding.  The smock needs some adjustments, but, outside of that, some jewelry should finish it off.

love it!
so i suspect that wes and i will be seeing you on opening day at the MDRF???
i have yet to start my gown, i am having a fabric crisis, and a hoop skirt debacle!

Alisoun, love the new gown.  The coral/pink color is so unique and stunning, I especially love the hat.

Lady Kathleen, that is a very fun outfit!  The new hat truly sets it off indeed!

BEAUTIFUL dress.  I love those colors together.
And lovely top hat.  Very dashing, and something every girl needs.

So I finished my colorful new pirate ensemble and am fairly happy with it.  I would have liked the skirt and bodice to match up but I must have been bloated when I measured my waist or something 'cause I swear it fit where it was supposed to.  And the back does lace closed when I have a dresser, but I'm alright with showing a little back.  It's hot up here in the summer.  I should have made it longer, but the bodice was made for all scrap and I didn't have any longer pieces so... *shrugs*  There will be a sash (hello walmart for cheap scarves), my belt with all my effects, my pirate coin necklace and my hat, but I just wanted to take pics of the new pieces.
