Here's a project I started just before I went on vacation.  I'm back and I wanted to finish it up before the opening of faire.  Next weekend! 

It's a little wrinkly in the bodice area and it doesn't close all the way at the top on Nancy.  But I'm a bit more squishy than she is, so it lays flat and comes together nicely on me.

Cute little bag I made today with left over dress and forepart fabric.  And now it gives me an excuse to buy something green and shiny to match!

Crap, knew that was coming. Hmm, well I just need to sew the trim onto the skirt & hem it, throw on the shoulder treatments for the bodice, and then voila! I'll have it ready by Ohio. Promise. I always lose motivation around this point in progress. -_-;;;

Beautiful work with great results.   I see why you both LOVE that green fabric!   The trim really does seem to be the trick to these pieces.  I love the cording as well as the beautiful wide trims.  Just great attention to detail.   Lovely, well done!  I do hope I see you in Ohio.

Both of those gowns are just splendid!!

CaptnFaye,  I just adore the diamond inserts down the front of the underskirt.  Really sets off the diamonds on the top!!  Truly unique design indeed!
