NicoleBridget, I am in love with your sewing room. The Castle theme is wonderful. Good job.

*goes off an sulks. I don't have a room like that.*

*Squee* Thank you SO much for the compliments everyone, I knew you guys could appreciate it more than anyone else!  The walls are covered with a stone-look wallpaper, and it's my favorite component of the room, I almost didn't want to hang the portraits and tapestery because I didn't want to cover it up!  Lady Rebecca, I'm into interior design too (another creative outlet I guess, as if I need another hobby) so what you said about a design show is quite a compliment, thank you.  The catch to the room is...it's holding everything it needs to hold FOR NOW.  If my stash gets bigger, when the wardrobe gets bigger, if have to add one more large-ish thing I don't know where I'll put them without infringing on the "pretty".  It's packed full.  These pictures were taken with a project looming, I should take some more once I'm in it up to my elbows!

I WISH I had a sewing room. Right now I have a space in my dining room, which could technically be counted as a sewing room I guess since we don't eat in the dining room.  Perhaps if I was to organize it better, then I would have a good space.

I think I just wet myself!  WOW!!!!! What a dreamy room.   I thought the room with all of the windows was great...

NicoleBridget

Oh...windows...  What I wouldn't give to have a nice window seat somewhere in the house.  *walks away muttering about which wall to bust out*

Oh I wish I had a picture! It's very similar to a childs room where there is just enough room to open the door and little path ways to get around the rest is packed waist high with fabric, trim, patterns... :D

I love your sewing room NicoleBridget!
I think my room looks like Becky10's. :) It was my son's room and I just have a path to walk into it. It does have one window that looks over my pond in the backyard. I need a much bigger room er, house.

Ohhhhhhh to have a sewing room. *sigh* I'm envious of you all! I have a popup card table that I sometimes can use in the office. :(

I can't get to my sewing table anymore because it's buried behind at least 20 or so large bead storage boxes I got at the hardware store that are supposed to be used for nut & bolts & stuff like that.

My husband's room looks like that, except it's computer stuff! ::)

Nicole, you're making me think about trashing my original orange-colored wall idea. Your room is fabuloso!

You haven't had enough coffee unless you can thread a sewing machine while it's running.

OMG I love this thread ... So voyeuristic :P

a broken sewing machine!

:'(

Getting a new one tomorrow- it was a low end Brother, so I might as well just get a new one than pay to have it repaired...

Here's my messy office. I work from home a lot so I have my personal computer and my work laptop in there too.

i have a Viking 950e (embroidery also, but i can't figure out how to use it) sewing machine and a Babylock Imagine serger.

My dress form is foam and it has this little zipper suit you can sew into your size and stuff the foam into to make it smaller. Not that I have to. I used to use it, but a hundred ice cream cones later, it mysteriously had to come off.

Not pictured: my Janome Decor Pro 5124 that I tried to sell but decided it was better to keep a backup at the advice of my mother-in-law.

So now you need to share...where did you get the wallpaper?  I have plans to turn the spare bedroom into a castle room, and currently I have the directions to paint a stone wall from RenStore.  I'm curious if I'd like one over the other...

On topic, my sewing room is one half of my geek room (or as has been dubbed by Houston rennies that have been to my house, the "Aiacha Room") with mostly Star Trek and Star Wars filling the other side.  My cutting table would be my tile floor in my living room  :-/.  It's really just a small desk with a sewing machine and boxes of patterns, a closet of materials, and supplies.  And currently it's a mess!
