Julie came by last night to pick up her new garb. She tried everything on to glee.

Great dress!  But I couldn't help notice the doll in the background.  Did you dress her, as well?! :D

GREAT WORK everyone!!!!!  Just lovely!!!

Dinobabe!!!

That is a doll I made a complete Elizabethan ensemble for back in 2005. 90% of it is hand done. I drafted the pattern for the doll based on the original clothing it had been wearing when I got it. Here is the album link...http://home-and-garden.webshots.com/album/217336250KoGzKJ

Enjoy!!  The Doll has won a bunch of awards.

Thanks ladies. I was surprised at how well the diamond cutouts turned out (being I had to freehand them and had old janky scissors at the time!). I'm thinking about making a set of outer sleeves that button and are also detachable. I think it'd pull the gown together nicely. :)

Very pretty Faye. Hopefully I will get to see it live or at least have the parents take a picture for me.

Oh Margaret, It is terrific!  I love the boddice shape and shoulder detail.  It looks like the sleeves are all pearled, yes?
Really nice

Lovely gown Margaret! I was admiring it this weekend but didn't realize that it was new.

I just finished this right before MIRF.  I made the chemise, skirt, bodice, cap, tan colored pouch, and arisaid.

Nicely done! I saw you this weekend too but didn't know that you were a forum member! You must stop by an R/F meet-n-greet and introduce yourself.

Looooove that bodice, Margaret!  I haven't seen a lot of them like that, it's very pretty!  Great fabric too BTW...

I love the way you have the bodice laced, Thumper.  A thought, though...  lace top to bottom so the strings don't cover up the beautiful pattern!
Nothing clever to say here.  Not enough caffine yet.

I shall try to stop by next weekend. :)  When is it?

Thank you for the suggestion.  I will try laceing it the other way this upcoming weekend.

Nicely done my friend.
I love that hot pink shoulder treatment.
