Steampunk and its growing following

In a 2008 episode of Doctor Who called "The Next Doctor", there's a bit of a Steampunk theme when the CyberKing rises out of the Thames River in London.

So I've been assigned a project in school where I have to do some photoshop work. I've decided I want to photoshop people in steampunk attire into victorian backgrounds and then put it all in sepia tones. like old victorian pictures. Well, I'm on a hunt for pictures, but I don't want to infringe on copyrights or anything, so if anyone is willing to let me use your photos of steampunk people/things please let me know! Please feel free to link me to your site or email me individual pictures (hermioneg@msn.com). I will most definitely email you my final works since they are from your original photos. These works will not be going into a gallery showing or anything its just for a grade.

Really, really good news - my corset came in and is beautiful.  I tried it on and my son walked in and kind of went YIKES!  I looked at him & said "Not used to seeing mom in bondage wear?"  He's freakin'.

I would be happy to do this... if I had any.  So far I haven't even finished my garb, much less gotten any pics of it, but if you'll scroll back through this thread you'll find links to a few other forums with folks who might be willing, if you explain the nature of the assignment to them.  Good luck, and good grades!!!

Bad thing is I already have ideas its just a matter of putting them together.
