Well, the problem is that it's really not a kids weekend, and almost all of the activities there will be extremely adult... most with at least a strong "R" rating, if not worse. I'm not camping in the "family" area right next to the train tracks, since my main reason for wanting to be there this particular weekend was to be with friends and to experience the "grown-up" version of TRF...

(30 minutes later...)
However, I just spoke to Grov, and then Willa and Cap't. Sin (all of the Bayou Scoundrel krew, whom I'll be camping with), and they have all reassured me that my daughter will be most welcome in camp, so I guess she's coming with me! Now to scramble up some hasty Steampunk for her (because she wants to participate in the invasion), dig out her regular garb, and figure out what else I'll need to bring in the way of clothes for her.

Ok... pressure valve released...

Yeah! Brian and Rosemary (Fairiedactyl) made it here. Guys, that pic almost doesn't do the punkiness of that garb justice...... it was SOOOOOOO steamy.. Oh and the goggles with the rose lens - wonderful!

In fact, DOW at MDRF was a plethora of punk. I do not take pics, but if anyone caught the rose seller with the all leather SP garb, please post it - leather kilt, tall top hat, duster, multilens goggles.... just great.

That rose seller's garb was fantastic! I loved his leather tuxedo style coat complete with tails!

I wish TRF had an official Day of Wrong. I realize AHE is the day to whoop it up, but an official day would have the Seal of Approval on it. Willowrose is totally bee-yootiful in her sp fairy garb.

Oh geez... in all the furor I totally forgot to press her about it... I'm so sorry, hon. I've been running on about 2.5-3 hours of sleep a night, and I'm going flat out right now... I'm amazed I can even think!!!

That's one of the many reasons I chose it, because it sounded like a great Faire name!

Taffy, go ahead and use her name, and I'll renmail the spelling of it to you. Thanks for setting her up with a Landshark letter of Marque and pin, and an S/P pin, if there will be an extra! She'll absolutely love being included!!!
