LOL! Yep, A real native Texan and 3rd generation Houstonian!  Who is surprised to hear people from the frozen North gripe about temps in the 50s!

Temps in the 50s seems pretty close to perfect for faire, but I'm one of those that doesn't stop sweating until the temperature gets below 65.  When our son from NYC comes to visit in December, we have to turn the heat up in the house, raising it up to about 66 or so.

???? Love the weather in Texas ????  That's almost as insane as loving the weather in Arkansas...which is impossible...if you're sane...

OK, I'll make an allowance for crazy Texans, if they're rennies.  ;)

no bourbon but I have a good supply of Scotch and rusty nails, and of course anyone rised in the highlands knows how to keep things warm,  Thats important in a kilt.

Oh its ok , I have plenty of bourbon.... but I wasnt raised in the Highlands so I may need a bit of training  in that department ;)

Well, chilly weather is an ideal excuse for finding a tent-mate... which can keep things nice and toasty at night.  ;)

I'd be interested, myself, in hearing about these methods of keeping things warm whilst wearing the kilt, though...  :D

Oh, and I'm certainly not averse to the occasional Rusty Nail! (just so long as it's only one or two, since I understand that too many can make you lose track of the things you've done that day...)  :o  heheh
