I love the wee little pirate coat! The tabard is awesome too!

  I love that coif!

That inspires me to start a project, perhaps an embroidered handkerchief or something small like that, to bring to faire. I'm a novice embroiderer, though my stepmother tried to teach me as a child.

Here is my Niece! We made her outfit, design and toiled and all from the skin out *not her coif, that is mine from before and her PoB* I wanted you all to see her!  She was entered into the Renaissance Historical Costume Contest, we did not win, sadly but it makes me want to make spiffy for next yearo

That is marvelous work and she looks lovely in it. I'm amazed that it didn't win either.

Beautiful!  Must have been some amazing competition for it not to win.

Alas, Southern California Renaissance Faire- Is the Grand Dame of all Faires and yep there were 36 entries and

Here is the winner, she was pointed towards the audience I was on the side, she did Helena Snakeborg. She did an excellent job, so I give her props!

But next year? I am planning the entire family and each person will have their own, including my BFF who will be in an Italian! Even her baby will have something snazzy to wear!!!
