I realize that this may not be the proper thread and apologize ahead of time, but our group (drunken monkey clan) intends to camp next weekend (all hallows eve) and will have 8 people and three RVs.  We are interested in McLoftus.  Would there be any interest in having us camp with or near McLoftus to use the RVs to help screen the camp from the drunken Ravers?

Of course you can be with/near us!
And having a camper to block the sound of the ravers is a fantastic bonus
Realistically, with you and Capt. Sin's RVs that would be enough to seriously protect our area well.
Um... next weekend isn't All Hallows Eve however, it's weekend after next (25th & 26th)... or is that what you meant?

I was in iraq for allmost 3 years so I'm used to generators. All Hallows Eve is the weekend end after next right?

Teach I'm a rum drinker myself.  its about the only thing other than wine and mead I can drink. I don't like beer.

I'll be sure and bring some on All Hallows Eve. Whats your brand of choice?

Mine for simple pleasure is CaptM and Dublin Dr pepper.

I'm a Gold and spiced rum drinker.

Can I keep him?
I pretty much drink any of them with the exception of the nastiness that Zaubon bought (potters.... blech)
Coconut rum is great in Mountain dew (or by itself)
Spiced rums mix with damn near anything sodawise and quite a few others besides (or by themselves)
Dark rums mix well with Coke (or by themselves)
Light rums mix better with clear sodas (or by themselves)
So far I have loved every flavored rum that I have sampled (coconut, pineapple etc etc) with the exception of mango... dunno whats wrong with that mess... but it dont blend well to me
I am a huge fan of pretty much any mixed drink that involves rum, but hurricanes are definitely my fav there
Pyrate is my favorite brand of straight rum
Cap Morgan for spiced rum
Parrot bays for the flavored rums
Bicardi for light rums (their flavored ones are pretty tasty too though)
Those malted drinks by Parrot bay and Bicardi are awesome ways to bring a six pack along to drink

umm... just realized I entered into rum ramblin' mode...
When I say I love rum... I am quite serious lol
Asking me to choose a favorite brand is like asking what air I like to breathe...
