Update:  Robbie is having surgery today to remove the lens in his right eye.  Rich/Adam is with him.  As soon as we have more news one of us will post.  Thanks to everyone for their kind thoughts, words, and magic.  Robbie truly appreicates all of you and your support and Rich and I do too.

Well Robbie did not have the lens removed yesterday.  He saw a different doctor who specialize in eye surgery from the back of the eye.  Rich/Adam says that Robbie's doctors have decided that is the best way to proceed as going in from the front of the eye could lead to more damage due to the fact the lens has become connected iris.  So now the surgery is on Wednesday 12/17/08.  Thanks again to everyone for your kind thoughts.  We will keep you posted.

Robbies next surgery to take out the damaged lens (now called a cataract) is wednesday the 17th.
Please ramp up the good thoughts and wishes for that day.  The doc says that if there is no retinal damage that feel they have an excellent chance of restoring his sight in that eye.  They will not, however, know if there is any damage until the "get in there".

Please, keep those candles burnin, fingers crosses and prayers being said.
