I guess I went the wrong direction with my post as I focused on the campsite side of things and not so much on the "clan".

Since others are commenting I'll throw my two cents in.
I'm a grumpy old man. There are lots of people that I don't much care for personally.
That being said, I've never turned anyone away from my table or our campsite because I didn't like them. I have asked some to move along because of their actions, but never because of my preferences. Show up at our camp, introduce yourself and don't start a lot of drama or belligerence and you are more than welcome. Eat Drink and be Merry!  One extra caveat, we are a family camp, if the activity is adult oriented keep it out of site of the kiddies. (including the ones riding by on the road) There I think I've stated the rules, at least the only ones that I will say anything about.

I personally have been known to have issues with some people out there. Who hasn't? I do on occassion request that some do not associate with me, just so that there is no drama, and no issues, and no injuries due to people being thrown into the campfire LOL.

That being said, I know how my fellow clanmates are, and how wonderful and welcoming they tend to be towards everyone. I will take the higher road and be as they are. Hopefully that's enough to make sure that my fairemily is safe, secure, and content.

Add us to the list blue.  We will come park at the site early Sat morning and go to fair with you all and then come back by camp and hang out on Saturday after fair.  We are not camping yet, but we intend to do so next year when the youngest is just a wee bit older.  I was just planning on bringing food for our family since we are not camping the night for the kids Saturday night dinner.  I am not trying to look like we are too good to eat with you, I just know how hard it is to plan for so many people having done it many times before myself.  See you all on Saturday.

In all honesty, there are some people that I do not want associate with our clan or even with our forums. But I will keep those personal problems to myself unless problems arise.

Well I finally stopped lurking around the forums and registered.

I don't know if y'all remember me...I'm NightWolf's (Spikey, as I love to call him) wenchie. I was in piratewear most of the time and usually found hovering near my Spikey, or the "top shelves" of you lovely wenches 

I believe I also have been dubbed: Tatas, Bebos, "Nice Legs", and a few other names that usually pertained to my merchandise  . I think I must have earned about 4 or 5 nicknames the weekend I was there (Final weekend Thurs-Sun); but rum and mead tend to backspace a lot of my memory!

I just wanted to say I had a blast and have never felt more at home than I did with McLotofus.

I really appreciate all the warm welcomes I received as a newbie at camp and I have never met a more friendly, fun, and all around awesome bunch at Faire!

I don't know if this is too late, considering Faire is over, but I'd love to join the MCL Fairmily! I didn't know if perhaps McLotofus throws additional meetups or goes to Scarby, etc, but I just thought I'd drop in and say howdy!

Thanks so much for helping my time at Faire be the best ever!

Those who know me know I do my best to run the other way when Drama rears it's ugly head I hate it.  Life is about enjoying each day for what you can and making memories that last a life time.  Or at least until the next circle starts and end and you sit around wondering where the heck you know that person from.  *looks around for DS and grins* 

I think that is what I loved most about being at your camp this past weekend and hanging out it was what I missed about fair no drama just people hanging out and having fun as it should be.

Vampy feels silly for not reading this topic more and realizing the mere want is all it takes to belong.  I like that all that induction squire bs is just that more drama lol.  I am Still reading through this thread.  Man I am so glad I am taking a break from school lol.  Gives me time to catch up some on the board.
