ABSOLUTELY beautiful work, Lorraine.  I just LOVE your attention to detail!

OH, and I checked eBay on a whim, and guess what I just found? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=370113034551&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=024

I think it's an exact match!  If your lady can spare the bucks, and she's not too tall, it wouldn't take much time to convert it into a separate skirt to match the bodice.

Lorraine

It's more she can't afford any more garb this year, I also found some great see through silver snowflake fabric for a chemise, oh well >.<
Thanks for looking for me though :)

I just finished a "Snow Queen" bodice for a member on the r/f forums. While it's obviously not meant to be HA I tried to stay away from anything too cheesy, and made the entire thing washable since the colors are pretty light. The fabric is a snowflake jacquard with cotton flatlining, drill interlining, and white twill lining. I used silver iron on trim for the front (thanks for the help Lady Kathleen!), fake fox fur cord edge for the neck and bottom, and glass pearls and silver beads for the front and sleeves. The sleeves also have white satin piping and little blue crystal drops.

Hi
Lovely Bodice! I hope you find enough table cloths to make a skirt for it! I could see a white forepart and sleeves with it too! Awesome work!
Where did you get the trim?? I would love to get some of that!!!

Thanks Cilean! The trim is from Heritage Trading on ebay, they're currently on vacation until the end of the month so they don't have much up, but heres their store http://myworld.ebay.com/heritagetrading&ssPageName=STRK:MEFSX:SELLERID

I just finished my stepsister's Christmas present. Her weight fluctuates a lot so I wanted to make something easily adjustable, and that would also conceal a tummy. Heres the finished bodice, 3 layers of canvas, 1 layer of upholstery, 13 steel bones, lots of homemade piping, and I couldn't find a trim I liked so I combined some old gold colored velvet ribbon with a dark gold gimp. I'm going to put an extra wide modesty panel in the back, and the straps will be either removable, or movable for weight gains/losses.  Now to start on my stepsister in laws bodice. I'll get pics of them wearing their presents after Christmas :)
