Well there is always next year to hope for snow.  Why not hope that it snows for Christmas?

I personally dont like the cold, wet stuff and hope it dont snow EVER!!

Not to worry LadyShadow this is Texas it takes a freak of nature to get snow at least if you live in the Houston area.  LOL.  But you all said it I would take this weekends weather over last years final weekend any day.  I was in a wedding last year during that mess and although the wedding did go off as planned being cold and wet in one of my few lady dresses I own lol can be quite miserable at moments lol.  But those who know me knew I made the best of it lol.

I even continued wearing my Garb at camp Saturday till the cold wetness of it became too uncomfy and I had to go change lol.  I'm such a die hard.   Can't wait to see you all again when life permits.

Monday at Bizarre Bazaar, I overheard someone saying, "Man, this year I want to go someplace where I won't see snow. It snowed at Scarby, it snowed everywhere I went.  This year I'm going to South Padre (Island) just to get away from snow!" I giggled to myself and thought "Don't bet on that one pal, a few years it snowed there too, over 12 inches!" First time in 109 years, I'm told. :D :D

Ironically, I live far enough south in Texas that it rarely snows, ven when other places get it. That day, I was too far north. Rats!
"It's just water, officer, I swear. And yeast. And a little honey. How the alcohol got in, I have no idea!"

I heard that on the radio!  Here on the south side it's just cold and wet.  But we are hoping for a few flurries!  It's cold enough that it's a possibility!

And I remember the snow on Christmas 4 years ago...  Driving over the Galveston causeway with snow & ice & idiots who don't know how to handle it is one of the scariest things we've ever done!
Got faerie dust?

Taffy Saltwater

We got a little of the white stuff here (I-10 & 6'ish), too!  Lasted for about 90 seconds, but still!
Sveethot!

I'm starting to wonder if I can spend the night at work.  I hate driving in Houston traffic as is.  Add snow/ice/rain and its a million times worse.  :(  What happened to the nice warm weather?¿?¿

Bonny, you work right near me!  It snowed here too.  It collected a little bit on the edges of the roofs, but melted as it hit the ground.  The kids went out to play in it until I decided they were too cold.

Okay Texans. Commence an immediate search for any Yankees who are within our state. Check to see if they have permission to visit our state and ensure they have signed the "Don't bring your snow down here" agreement. If they cannot provide proof, get them reported to the YLWIEO (Yankee Lousy Weather Immigration Enforcement Organization).

I figure once the accumilation gets to 1/8 inch, they will close all the businesses.
