For those who may not know...it's the bottom one.  And no, I have never come close to hitting one with my car.   ;D

The good old A-4...

I remember those from when I went to elementary school down in south Tampa,FL. and they flew out of Mac Dill AFB.
They flew over the school at 100 to 150 feet on there way out to Avon Bombing Range. The whole place would shake and talking was impossible till they went by, the teachers hated them  ;D
So what are you doing this weekend?
I'm going to BARF!!!
You're going to...wait...WHAT???

And it is this mans opinion the 'Blues' out-fly the 'T-Birds' at every show I have ever seen.  If you have never seen either team you owe it to yourself to go...amazing!

I've never seen the Blue Angels perform, but a few years ago the T-Birds performed from Easterwood Airport in College Station. The corner of the office where my desk sat was inside the fly zone. Milord went to the top of a nearby building that he had access to, and ran the AF flag up a pole, and swears and swears that one of the pilots tipped his wings as he flew over :).
"It's just water, officer, I swear. And yeast. And a little honey. How the alcohol got in, I have no idea!"

Love this shot...a tie between this one and the Me-109 as my fav WWII fighter.  I fly an R/C version of #68!  The AVG was an amazing group of men, thanks for posting the pic!

LOVE the plane pics!

I'm on the left.  I'm also not quite that short.  I was bending down to not block my friend who the camera operator cut out of the picture.

They come to Seattle and do a show every year.  These pics are from 2007.  My office used to be right across the street from the airport they "live" at while in town.  Me and a couple of friends took a long lunch to go see the pilots after they finished their practice runs for the day.

This guy was at the Air museum next to the airport.  I think he was a bomber pilot in WWII.  He was cool.
