Lady Kathleen of Olmsted

Thanks! It's fun to do a different period. Which is why I am looking forward to making the "Chaucer Coat" from a 'A Knight's Tale'.

I am also planning to get cut out and made by Halloween, an 1890's Gored Skirt, Mutton sleeved blouse, and black Lace Gimp. Sort of more of a Steampunk look to it when I wear it with the Bell Topper and lace gloves.

Very nice!   :D  I have a 19th C Hussar type uniform to construct this month, so have been watching out for this one.  Lovely work, as usual.

Our end of season ensembles--Superman circa 1580, "Lady Raven" masquerade gown (without and with mask)
The husband's slops turned out about three inches too long, but I finished the ensemble in less than two weeks, so he let me slide.

Alisoun!  Everything is fantastic!  That is an absolutely *glorious* doublet bodice! Did you use a pattern for that?  (A doublet bodice to go with my 16th C. middles is up next in my queue, after Milord's Gimli tunic.)

Thanks, Gem!

Both ensembles (minus my under gown) are from the Margo Anderson line of patterns.  This was my first doublet bodice, and it was a fitting nightmare.  The back bunches across from armhole to armhole, but I'll never see it, so I won't worry about it.  :)

This is the one I finished just before Scarborough opened. I still needs some tweaking I think.

I know this is from back in May but I just had to tell you I am in love with this dress!

I love the sleeves under and the detailing is just beautiful.

Wonderful job lass!

Dona!!  Gorgeous gown!!  You sure do have a bevy of beautiful gowns to choose from!! I want to amke me a new one when I get some "down" time.

The Chaucer Coat is finished. It took a while to whip stitch the faux fur on the inside of the coat. Good thing I bought 1 1/2 yards. Not Much left. The flash did not go off for the last two photos. The Ultra Suede is a Buckskin shade of Tan.

The coat is for isisdy. It goes out tomorrow. It was a lot of fun to do.

Now I finally have my Victorian/Goth ensemble cut out and ready to assemble.  I plan to burn the Midnight Oil to have it all finished and ready to wear on Saturday night.
