Airship Isabella was here at ComicPalooza last year & a lot of them came to pay homage to Phil.  They are quite amazing.

Sounds like a good time was had by all.  And by the way ... *jealous!*

Had a blast at Scarby for Steampunk Invasion on Sat!  They even consented to let us walk in the parade.  (Upon reflection of my sore feet, that may have been punishment.)  :D  Posted some pics of us on FB:

Mieljolie, the pictures are terrific & y'all look wonderful.  I am so glad to see the faire experience opening up to different interests and welcoming Steamers as were Pirates, Fairies, Magickal Folke and other sundry non-ren types.

Thanks, Taffy.  We were impressed at the positive response we got.  We were stopped by lots of folk who expressed an interest in creating their own SP character.  Of course Samedi had to lecture everyone we met on making their own gadgets and not buying everything from ebay.  :)  He had so much fun harassing kids with his weapons, too.  It was really fun.

Oh, now THAT's outstanding!!!  How cool that some of the major Faires are recognizing the genre, and welcoming it this way!

Of course, I know a few people will just be thoroughly ticked off by it...  :D  Oh well, not everyone likes everything, and that's ok.

Now I'm REALLY excited to see the pics!!!
