I will be out for AHE as usual all. Just need to do what I need to do. Thanks to everyone for all the best wishes. And YES, Nasty will miss all of you. Also, I'll poke my head in from time to time to say hi.  :P :P :P ;D ;D ;D ;) ;) ;)

I better get my phone calls still too :) *hugs* I'm so happy you'll be closer to your honey too!

Lady Kett...if you guys are going...when and where? Apparently Lynne and I have picked weeks that nobody from Scarby is going. I am limited because of my job.... but we want to be there when people we know are also going.

We try to go opening, AHE and closing but aren't firm or set on any of them. If you can only go 2nd weekend, we can probably make 2nd weekend on our list! Let me know what hotel you find too...not emotionally attached to our normal place!

I've possibly only have a day trip planned for opening but I know for a fact I will be out and about all weekend for AHE...as for the other five weekends *Last weekend is a no go for me every year*...I have 'season' tickets, so I aim to be out there as often as I can, barring I don't camp alone.....I'm to pretty to camp alone..okay, poor really...

We're kinda trying to figure out how to keep a tent warm with a (at that time) 5 month old baby... Any ideas?

Yes, tent heaters are good.  Just make sure you're well ventilated, and that you have something steady to set it on, so it doesn't get knocked over at night, and you should all stay toasty.

The ventilation is the thing I'm worried about. I'm sure we can find a decent tent heater to keep us toasty! :)

The real problem, though, at that age, anyway, is that you don't want to have baby bundled up under lots of covers at night... and it usually gets pretty cold over AHE.  If you can keep the tent at a nice stead 72 degrees or so, that won't be an issue, but if it drops much below that then she might not be too comfy.

Two words.. Mr Buddy... Not sure about the newer lowest model, but the original two has O2 sensors and tip over sensors in them or at least did.. The bigger model also has two plates and fans to help push the air.. Well worth the money over a cheap one imho, especially with the baby.

I second the Mr. Heater Big Buddy.  We use ours for all cold camp outs.  It keeps us nice and toasty.  Keep the little one between the two of you.  If you are on an air mattress, layer some type of foam between the air mattress and your bodies.

We put egg crate foam and backpacking foam on top of our air mattress before we put the sheets down.  That along with the tent heater keeps us very very toasty.  Can't go wrong with flannel sheets.
