Here's how it is planned to work. Of course, there will be folks who will jump out of their line.

The paved road off CR 302 is wide enough for 4 lanes of traffic. One lane will be left open for outbound traffic.

First in will form up on the right side of the road. Next in, right behind them. Once that row is full (say about 60 vehicles or 30 vehicles with trailers), we will form a line to the left of the first one until it is full. And so forth for the third line.

If we see the third line starting to get filled, we will check with security to see if they are ready. Of course, that's about 180 vehicles or 90 vehicles with trailers. I doubt it will get filled Thursday afternoon, but we have to be ready just in case.

Have your Faire tickets ready to show for everyone in the vehicle or purchase them as needed.

I may come onsite late Thursday. To speed up the land rush, I may circulate down along the rows, selling Faire tickets and camping passes, so that when the gate opens, we get folks moving in as fast as possible.

Folks waiting in line will be able to walk in and use the Quickie Mart and Flushing Toilets, unless this gets abused.

Does the new layout allow for patrons who are not camping to visit the campgrounds before going to their motel?  My girlfriend has health issues that prevent us from camping, but it has been fun in past years visiting with campers before retiring for the night.  It would not be feasible to pay for a weekend camping pass to visit with friends for a couple hours.  Hopefully this is one of the issues you and TRF management have been reviewing.  Thanks for all of your good work.

We (Terre, Tom, and I) have not discussed campgrounds visitors who only come into the campgrounds for a few hours. However, our method at Sherwood is that the driver of the visitor vehicle leave their driver's license at the gate. Upon exit, the license is returned. Of course if exit is the next morning, you may have to pay the camping fee to get the license back. Also, you must also have all the people in the vehicle with a hand stamp obtained exiting the Faire or a Faire ticket for the next day.

Idea is to reduce/eliminate "casual" visitors to the campgrounds.

Sound fare enough?

I've been corrected. Any visitors will have to walk from the Patron's parking lot into the campgrounds. No vehicles.

It sounds very reasonable.  I think the majority of problems will be solved by two of your strategies - requiring a TRF ticket for each person entering the campgrounds and enforcing an amplified noise curfew.  That will keep the ravers subdued and, IMHO, will quell noise disturbances as well as reduce the amount of theft.  Perhaps I'm a bit biased, but I'd like to think the majority of theft problems are the result of ravers who roam the campgrounds during the day while rennies are inside the gates.

Mike, Dennis and myself should be there for the walkthrough, barring any major issues. My folks & brother may join us- so that's 5 total. Ill confirm and get back to you ASAP.

Okay, enough folks have confirmed for attending the walk-thru.

I'm bring up my 26 ft travel trailer (23 ft trailer stays at Sherwood) Saturday and setting place behind the Quickie Mart.

Sunday morning (whenever the nearest pizza joint opens), I'll pickup six large pizzas (2 cheese, 2 pepperoni, 2 supreme), to be available at noon. Bring your own drinks and maybe a potluck dish. Sorry, no beverages supplied.

Hang out at the entrance until I get back onsite. I want to make sure everyone is in attendance when I give the general layout and repeat the new campgrounds rules.

Guess we might need some paper plates, napkins and utensils if this is going to turn into a pot luck meal.  I will bring a dish and one set of paper plates and utensils if that is the case and others plan to bring food too.
