LadyAnn is right....cold wet snow STINKS!! Snow might be fun for kids...but nuh uh..not for me...

I can deal with cold...that's what our hearth glo in the tent is for and nice heavy wool cloaks for inside is for.....

Last weekend last season was not fun! I never wore so many clothes with chainmaille that last Sunday...and I don't want to do it again!

So, bring on some cold camp weather please...but no rain....no snow....

AWOOOLL Shucks, Capt, just a few inches will do! :'(
Not like I'm asking for a blizzard or a white out!

Keep up that attitude Charlie and we'll send you back up to return that nasty white stuff (insert explicitive of your choice here). I moved to Texas to get away from it.

Taarna

As did the Ice Queen Faerie... funny as that may sound. LOL

I am more a tropical version.... I prefer palm trees, sandy beaches, and balmy weather....
A chill in the air, over your shoulder, the Ice Queen's cold stare, you can only be one place. The Texas Ren Faire!

Well, Im a snow lover as well, but Id much rather be in a warm house when it does come, hopefully at some point this season!
I have watched weather.com change the forecast for that weekend practically hour by hour!
The only weather I didn't want was anything remotely warm. It's why I picked the last weekend, that and because it's a Christmas weekend. At last check, I saw 69 for a high on Friday, slight chance of rain,,,SLIGHT. I'll take it!

Taarna

It is still changing constantly, giving creadance to the saying "don't like the weather in Texas? Wait 5 minutes, it'll change." I don't think any of the weather men know for sure... it's like Ike.... it's all guesses. But I can tell you this... there won't be ANY NATURAL SNOW..... only the snow and frost produced by Jack frost and myself.... And that my dears, is a promise!

Why, is everybody being sooooooooooooooooooooo mean to me?

Because you are wishing the evil of last closing upon us again...
Snow happens very very rarely around these parts
When people wish for snow here what they get is sleet and ice cold rain that then freezes onto things making life quite unhappy
For the first and only time ever, I was in the campground last year and did not even entertain the idea of going in on Saturday
Sunday I did the other extraordinary thing and went in wearing mundanes because that was the only way we could be warm enough and we didn't want to drag the garb through the slushy nasty mud that never comes back out
Just hope for nice cool weather... without wetness
cool... not friggin cold... cool

*almost cold enough to freeze the rum last year*
*Got more Rum?* "Here, Try This!"

Are you out of your bloody mind, sir?

Seriously, in order to have snow, it has to be rather cold, and the conditions have to be right for rain as well. To be honest, I would prefer moderate weather for late November in south Texas, high upper 60s, low mid-40s, etc.

LadyShadow

I am one who thinks that snow is much better in pictures not in person.  I hated having to be in the stuff while living in NM.

I am one who complains that I need to move further south during a Texas winter.  So, please no cold.
May the stars always shine upon you and yours.

I shoveled enough of that crap in boot camp to say that I could have filled Reliant Stadium...maybe twice!!
