So glad to see I'm not alone on the snow issue.

A 60/40 weekend would be great.  Everyone say their little prayer.

Don't take it personally Charlie (o:  I won't hold your love for snow against you.  Snow is great in the mountains.  Its hard to ski without snow (unless you water ski), Snowmen are hard to build without snow, can't make snow angels without snow, can't have a winter olympics without snow.  Snow is great to visit, as long as it somewhere other than my front yard (or ren faire campsite)

I must agree with that.

Plus... Some of us dont know how to act in the snow and it would just be a big disaster on the roads.

So true!!!

I actually went to an amusement park in GA once that had a slip track you could drive go-carts on, my family and I handled that with no problem at all since we are all so used to driving on slick roads, but it was hilarious to watch the people who didn't know how to steer around the slippery corners... This would not be so hilarious on the highway!!

** now where the heck is this global warming I was promised? **

;D

I'm sure that was fun to watch.  But on a closed, some what protected area is a lot better than on the normal roads.

HEY! I'm all about global warming.  If it warms up enough I might consider moving to Montana or Wyoming or Calgary.  Calgary is gorgeous, except for that one time a year (10 months out of 12) when its below 70 degrees F.  So bring on the global warming.

Yes, Montana too is lovely but they only have 3 seasons.  Hunting, Winter and Road construction.  Happiness is not breaking icicles from your mustache at -30.  That is why I have been in Texas for the last 22 years.

Besides it's to warm for it to stick, it would just look purty falling from the skys.
