We had a good time together. I only looked. Var shopped.Things Celtic is such a fun place. We had lunch at a nice- but inexpensive Japanese restaurant. I adore Japanese food! Yum! Sushi and tempura!
That stomach bug knocks you for a loop! Good Dr Oreo is taking care of you! Feel better soon!
I was worried about Tachi last PM. No idea what was going on. He cried and shook a bit. All I could do was hold him and pet him. He seems OK this AM. At least he ate. He is so sick- and so precious to me.

Well you know his time is borrowed and when it is his time you will help him make it pleasant...I know you will! It is so hard to lose our friends...2 and 4 legged but all of us are here on borrowed time... how ever long that turns out to be! Tachi is so lucky to have been your puddytat!!!!  I do think it is good a kitten has found you to help you deal when he does finally pass over the bridge...Think about this he and Bob will be together to guide you someday!!! I hate to see what the bridge will look like when I a go over...I sure hope it is big and strong.... with all the critters I will have waiting!!!!  Saw Bones at Petco today.... He was bugging me to make Sherwood as well!!! Pirates can't live without them...even in Petco catching fish!!!! Bought 5 bright orange and yellow guppies and a bloodfin tetra...those evil big tetras Cali brought finally died so I could get some nice fish!!!!

Queen Bonnie

Tachi is still hanging in there. That rainbow bridge is going to be crowded with a herd of cats when I cross over!
I hope you can make Sherwood too Cat!
Great about the fish!
It is supposed to be cold here. I will feed mine today.

I am sorry to hear that Tachi is not doing well.  I know he is very special to you.  We do everything we can for our fur babies, but sometimes all we can do is love them.

Tachi is hanging on. I can tell he does not feel great. Maybe the antibiotic is upsetting his stomach? He is eating. That is good. I think he will pull through.
I got the last of my huge tree cut up today. I have a nice neighbor. He can have it for firewood. A church down the street took some too to give to people who need to keep warm. Meow Manor has gas logs. And plenty of huge old trees too.
Neri is thriving and runs the place.  She loves chasing the big cats.
I got a tip today at garden club about kittens attacking and digging in house plants. Putting pine cones in the pots! We will see if that slows down el destructo kitten. My begonias are looking sad.I have lots of cuttings.

Black pepper helps too!!!! Sounds like she is a normal puddytat!

Queen Bonnie

The pine cones are Ok looking and do keep her out of the pots.Black or red pepper would make her sneeze!
The nargles are alive and attacking again. I am frazzled. The water line is backed up again. LCRA plumbers can't come until tomorrow. This time it is the toilet and the garage. Roots get in the water line. It will have to be rooted out. My carpeting is sodden. My neighbor and I pulled it out to dry- in this weather?!! LOL!
my pool part came in but it is also the motor too. It is being ordered. This is going to be a lean month here at Meow Manor.
At least I had a few days with no problems.
Fie, Drat and insert bad word here!(!@@#$$@!)

Sending good energy your way, I'm sorry to hear that the nargles are being evil. Will send out my nargle-attack force later and see if they can get rid of the problem for you, Bonnie. I wish I could come down and see you before school starts but seems like things are lean here also. I will greatly look forward to seeing you at Sherwood Opening and expect a big hug!
Still Meggers, just a little more grown up now. :)

Well, I have just experience my first pet death as an adult and I can not get over how badly I miss her.  My lovely little lap dog Bella has crossed over on the 5th, she loved cats, did not care for other dogs.  It hurts terribly.  When they make up your constant companion at home and so happy to see you when you arrrive home from being gone; it is very strange in the house.  But she was an older dog when we rescued her.  She is playing tug of war with others now.

Thanks Eloquent! I need all the good anything I can get here!
I would LOVE to see you- but until the plumbers come no toilet flushing or any water can go down the drain. Not fun!
This year is beginning to be just like last year- Faire is fun. Not much else is. Nothing more I can do tonight- except have a few glasses of red wine and de stress. I will pat the Royal felines and hope the Nargles leave me alone!
You will get a BIG HUG at Sherwood! Yayy to the opening! That happy thought is keeping my spirits from sagging into the depths!
Hugs Renn Robin. So sorry for your loss. It does hurt. I still miss Fuzzball and the rest of the kitties I loved. They live in my memories. Will you get another dog?

RenRobin, I am so sorry for the loss of your friend.  Please take care of yourself and remember the joy & love Bella showered you with.

Huzzah for Charlie the plumber. He was here a bit after 7AM after working all night. He got his magic snake thingy to clean out the clog.It is roots in the main line. Same thing that happened for the past 2 years at the ARRGs.
Now I can flush the toilets and take a hot bath and do dishes etc!Doing the happy dance. One more thing fixed.
The cold wind is blowing here. Maybe it will blow the nargles away? I hope.
I am making hot turkey soup for today. The cats have enjoyed my new years turkey!

Ren Ren, I'm so sorry your puppy passed away. Yeah, it's hard coming home and not seeing them, though I recall with past pets having passed seeing them from the corner of my eye for weeks after. I was never sure if it was a bit of their energy that remained, or if it was just my own memory. In an odd way, though it was helpful. Let me say goodbye and let them go at a bit of a slower pace.

Bonnie, have you tried using something like this for your root problem?

I haven't any experience myself, but it might help keep those roots at bay.

Yum to turkey soup. If I lived nearby I'd be knocking at your door, soup bowl in hand just about now.  :)

Queen Bonnie

The plumber puts down root killer. Meow Manor is so old. The lines are too. I hope the LCRA comes around and puts in another cleanout.
Joy to running water again!
More good news! I stopped giving Tachi the Antibiotic he was taking. It had been 7 days. He has been droopy and not eating well- but perking up today. I think the Baytril was upsetting his stomach? Poor kitty. Good to have him feeling better and eating again!
Doing another happy dance! I love my kitty and want him around for as long as he feels well.
The turkey soup was yummy. It has sherry, brown rice, limas and peas in it. Along with carrots, onions and turkey of course!
You would be welcome here any time Anna! I have had that pet in the corner of the eye when one has passed too. And a rubbing against the leg. Sigh. So many have crossed the rainbow bridge.
