Lady K, im'a drool'n....  Great job!  One day I will meet you!

I've improved the design and invested in some realistic faux fur for the latest version of my Cruelty-Free Zibellini, which I've started calling the "Flea Faux"

I'm much happier with how soft and variegated the fur is and it was fun to make. I still don't have the glass teddy bear eyes I ordered, but that is neither here nor there. It's almost creepy how realistic the fur feels.

I don't know why I'm not happy with the head this time around (maybe it's too long?), but that just means the next one will be better :)

Excellent job, Tixi!!!  I think you may have struck GOLD in the Faux Fur market for accessories!!! Go for it!!!

I can see what you mean about the head; but overall it looks fabulous.
I bet that quality of faux fur was expensive.

marvolus job. What you don't like will improve in time as you work with it.  But I agree with lady K. I think you may have struck gold with this. Much luck and success to you. You may be opening your own "Flea Faux" shop soon. LOL.

Ok, this is not a newly finished project.  I did most of the work by hand during our evacuation from Ike and then the following week waiting for power to be turned back on.  I do plan on redoing some of it for I didnt like the full end result.  But this is the first dress I ever made.

Here are some more finished projects.  I made my Hubby's Doublet in a week.  And I made his nephew's Doublet in 24 hrs (finished sewing buttons on it while on our way to TRF)

This is the doublet I made for my boyfriend's birthday, though his birthday had already passed by the time it was finished. Please ignore the fact that it passed 11 months ago. Whoops.

I drafted the pattern myself, all the eyelets are hand stitched, and it's done it's done it's done!

There's also a matching pair of knee length breeches that go with it (nothing special, just made from the same fabric with elastic waist and cuffs), but I couldn't figure out how to put those on my desk chair.

Looks nice.  So its a lil late.  As it is always said, "better late than never"   ;D
