This was a project I originally thought I would self-publish and sell on CD-rom, but I figure in the long run it might drive more business to our website if I just put it online and thought it might be of interest for Victorian gaming. Maybe I need to figure out a steampunk gambling hall. It is still a work in progress.

Hey Groom I had a thought awhile back. How about a Steampunk themed set of playing cards? I know not historically accurate but it still would be an interesting conversation starter.

The royalty in the cards could be set up in a steampunk style...

something along that line, only maybe with the British Royals instead?

Heck if I could draw people I would do it myself as I would be using at least one to go into my hatband.

I know there were some people on the Brassgoggles forum who were working on creating a steampunk tarot deck, but I think they only got so far.

Ok steamed Lincoln picture didn't work phooey.

Tarot deck? I'll have to float over there and see what they have so far. Could be inspirational.

I still may try to create my own playing card designs...I just need to figure out the proper dimensions for Victorian era cards. I can only guess that you might know?

If I recall there are some "make you own playing cards" kits available online that include perforated cards than can be run through a standard computer printer

Several years ago Walgreens could let you put one picture on the back of cards.  It was, however, somewhere in the neighborhood of $50 as I recall.

Yeah there's a number of places that do custom backs on cards.

Try this site, Phoenix... they'll let you customize both sides, but I'm not sure what they charge for that.  Custom pic on the back and standard face is only $20 though, so maybe not too much... and there's no minimum order.

Thanks for the link Rani, I wasn't having too much luck finding sites on my own.

I just hope it helps... :)  LOVE your new garb pics, btw!!!  Tre Steamy!!!

I actually kinda enjoy running spot searches for people looking for specific things.  Hmmm... wonder if there's a market for that?

So I was goofing off at my local Jo-Ann's and found this lovely 100% cotton fabric in the upholstery section. I was thinking it would make a lovely corset and or a nice skirt. With all of the various colors in it It would make color matching fairly easily.

What do you think? Oh BTW I woud have the stripes go vertically on me not horizontally.
